Following the sudden closure of their partnership with Gala Bingo, St Minver have launched a new site called Chit Chat Bingo. Using the same Parlay bingo software, the site unsurprisingly offers the same bingo games, special £1 free for new players and promotions as the old Gala Bingo site. The main difference is that Chit Chat Bingo looks a lot slicker and professional. However, whilst Chit Chat Bingo most certainly looks impressive, it may not have the draw to new players that the Gala brand offered. Indeed players may be wary of the new site, especially as Gala Bingo's St Minver online service essentially vanished overnight leaving users to sort out their accounts.
The manner in which Gala closed their online service has been seized upon by many competitors with some offering special bonuses to Gala Bingo players who change over their accounts. Currently, visitors to the Gala Bingo site are informed that a new site is forthcoming that offers "better value, easy-play Bingo" and "Bigger prizes and jackpots". The new bingo site will not be online until at least February meaning that bingo players have plenty of time to find new places to play their favourite game online.
