Are we seeing a slow down in the number of new bingo sites? It could well be just the summer, but after a glut of new bingo sites there's been a marked slow down in new offers and promotions to tell you about. That said there's still a handful of new sites for August 2008, a name change and news of changes at Sun Bingo! The biggest new site for August is Bet365 Bingo. They join fellow bookies Ladbrokes and William Hill on the Virtue Fusion bingo platform. They're targetting "bingoheads" with a free £10 no deposit bingo offer although we'd like to see more in the way of exclusive competitions for players.
Bingo ID have been around for a while, but have recently relaunched as a St Minver bingo site. You get £1 free bingo when you sign up and they're offering a free keyring to depositing players. Look out for exclusive promotions during August where you could win either a Return to Tiffany Heart Id Tag Pendant or Personalised red iPod Nano.
Our next featured site aren't new, but they've changed their name. Think Bingo Plus are now Think Bingo Cosy. We're not so keen on the name change or the fact the site looks like it's been invaded by Morph style plasticine characters. Note that this is the sister site to Think Bingo (just to add to any confusions!).
Also not new, but new to Bingo Loquax, are Harrys Bingo. They're a sister site to the likes of Bingo Magix and Gone Bingo, but only offer a £10 no deposit bonus compared to £15 at the other sites. It's a decent enough bingo room with the usual 75 ball and 90 ball games plus the additional 80 ball and 30 ball options.
Finally if you're a Sun Bingo player get ready for some changes. We understand that The Sun are handing their bingo services over to Jackpotjoy whilst the old Sun Bingo site will become Tombola Bingo. More on that when the changes occur!
Don't forget to check out the new sites for July 2008.
